Corals translocation in Guadeloupe

Creocean carried out the 9.10 and 11 April 2018 the monitoring of coral colonies translocated in 2015 (T + 3 years) on behalf of the Grand Port Maritime of Guadeloupe, within the framework of the Large Port Project.

These colonies, displaced to avoid their destruction, were transplanted to 2 recipient sites and some of them are monitored as "control colonies".

Monitoring is carried out every six months since 2015, by taking photo-quadrats and implementing specific surveys along transects, at the recipient sites and at two associated reference sites.
