PORT AND COASTAL PLANNING

When carrying out port or coastal planning, it is important to determine the projects' inherent oceanographic constraints. Créocéan thereby has wide reaching know-how on hydrodynamic studies (currentology studies, agitation studies), along with digital modelling tools.

Using these results and tools, specialist engineers at Créocéan run marine engineering studies (project design and sizing), project ownership support and project management assignments in order to advise promoters on how to develop and protect port and coastal areas.

Our team's work helps to:

• Characterize the oceanographic and meteorological environment of the coastal or offshore sites
• Identify agitation risks
• Define project's constraints
• Validate extreme conditions for a work-site
• Specify the requirements and conditions for a sea test
• Study waste at sea (future of pollutants, purification stations, etc.)
