Presentation to CIAPOL of the Abidjan Lagoon Bays Restoration Action Plan

18.04.2018

On April 10, 2018 in Abidjan, Eric DUTRIEUX and Olivier LE BRUN (Creocean), as well as Gilles WAROT (SCE) and Guy Noel KOFFI (SGS Ivory Coast) presented to the personnel of the Ivorian Anti-Pollution Centre (CIAPOL), the Lagoon Bays Restoration Action Plan, Phase 2 of the Feasibility Study for the Abidjan Bays decontamination on the Ebrié Lagoon. This presentation closed the study begun two years ago. The study was considered very useful for Côte d'Ivoire and the management of CIAPOL emphasized the quality of the work done.

During this day, the team presented to Mr. Niagne Martin DIBI (Director of CIAPOL) and Professor Ossey Bernard YAPO (Deputy Director of the Central Laboratory of the Environment of CIAPOL), all the contractual documents of the study. Support has been proposed to CIAPOL for the implementation of the "Action Sheets" developed during this mission. We believe we can continue this collaboration in the coming years either by conducting new studies or by proposing specific expertise.
