"Human Resources Officer, first-aid worker at work, arrived at CREOCEAN in 2004, I have a pivotal and advisory role with external collaborators and partners, in the application of social policy, HR issues. I process the information and coordinate it so that it is understood and accessible to all. I am also an active member of the HSE unit where I participate in the coordination of actions related to Health, Safety and to the Environment within CREOCEAN. The key to success is knowing how to take a step back when necessary, and keep in mind that employees are the main asset of the company!"
"I have a master's degree in management science from IAE (Institute of Business Administration) which I completed with a year at Swansea University in Wales as part of the ERASMUS program. I worked with between 100 and 10,000 employees. In small companies, you have to be versatile and cover several functions, you have the opportunity to acquire technical skills in various fields, complementary or even different from your basic training. My position at CREOCEAN requires competence in many fields such as finance, treasury, legal matters, insurance, accounting and everything related to administration. This diversity makes this position both very stressful but also interesting!"
Hervé: "I spend a good half of the year in the field, or preparing upcoming missions. Most of the time, we don't see much of the country in which we are deployed. I really like missions in coastal areas which allow a little more discovery of the country and its culture."
Pierric: "For a year, I surveyed the North Sea to carry out various missions of bathymetry, sonar surveys, detection of metallic objects using magnetometers, etc ... I joined CREOCEAN in August 2018 to keep on improving my professional career. I like to rack my brains to respond to always different field issues !"
"Doctor in Chemistry and Microbiology of water, I am in charge of developing international projects with public international funders.
Arrived at CREOCEAN in 1993, I created and managed the agency "CREOCEAN PACA-Corsica" until 2003 before becoming Head of the International Business Development and of CREOCEAN Qatar (Doha) and Morocco (Casablanca) agencies.
From 2011 to 2013, I was responsible for CREOCEAN Pacific agencies in Punaauia (French Polynesia) and Nouméa (New Caledonia).
My commercial role is now to develop the diversity of the company's business with foreign public owners, mainly African, and if possible to include this development in a Keran Group strategy. My greater satisfaction is to be able to solve / overcome each technical difficulty or human relationship !"
"I studied coastal environment as a whole at the University. After three years of study in Redruth (UK), I worked in oyster farming and then alongside APECS association for the monitoring of basking sharks. In 2005, I joined CREOCEAN and worked during 4 years at the CREOCEAN Caribbean Agency before returning to the head office in La Rochelle in 2010.
I work on authorization or standard declaration files for the Water Law, use of the Maritime Public Domain, impact studies ... I also participate in various field missions on the foreshore or at sea for water and sediment sampling, biosedimentary campaigns or even scientific fisheries."
"My basic training is Marine Engineering, studied at the SeaTech engineering school in Toulon, which I completed with a master's degree in marine ecology in order to understand the sustainable management and protection of the marine environment.
My role is to coordinate projects related to the marine, coastal and port environment in the South-West zone in France. I have to provide project leaders with CREOCEAN services to meet their needs ; I participate in expertise studies, project management missions or data acquisition campaigns.
Based at the South-West agency, I represent the company in the various professional networks in order to bring out new synergies with players in the Aquitaine region."
"I joined the CREOCEAN Pacific agency in 2008, after having participated in the first major coral transplantation operations conducted by CREOCEAN in the Middle East as a freelance. Under the spell of Polynesia since my end-of-year internship at Intechmer, I soaked my palms in Martinique, Monaco and Mayotte before returning to settle in Tahiti.
I organize and carry out field missions, carry out ecological reports for Impact Studies, I install measuring equipment, I inspect structures or supervise schoolchildren discovering the reef. Data processing and the writing of studies are also on the program!"
"I graduated from a Master 2 specializing in marine ecology "Integrated approach to coastal ecosystems".
After my studies, I joined the CARTHAM project (Marine Habitats Map) of the Marine Protected Areas Agency in order to establish the initial biological state of Natura 2000 sites at sea in the West-Atlantic. I joined CREOCEAN in 2013 and since then I have been working on various files where I can highlight my skills as a benthologist but also as an ecologist. The study of benthic marine fauna is a passion before being a profession and allows me to introduce this world to my colleagues who are always curious to observe my little animals."
"I have a professional Master in Oceanography, specializing in economics and environment. Behind this title, there is, above all, the desire to go beyond the context of pure marine biology and ecology, and to link the environment with uses of the coast.
I like to say that I am a Swiss army knife! I participate in a wide variety of projects: environmental monitoring, regulatory files for development projects, assistance to environmental project management, but also studies on territorial development or management as the writing of marine chapters of Concerted Territorial Planning Scheme or Coastal Planning Schemes ... I never get bored !"
"Holder of a master's degree in biological oceanology from the University of Lille, I specialized in benthic ecology and the food web at the Wimereux Marine Station and West Agrocampus.
I worked in the Cellule de Suivi du Littoral Normand (Normandy Coastal Monitoring Unit), as a technician and then as an engineer. The opportunity of a lifetime brought me to Terre Adélie, to the Dumont d'Urville base for wintering in Antarctica as a marine biologist. I joined CREOCEAN in June 2013 as a responible of studies. Our whole local team is interested in Hauts-de-France and Normandy projects but also by projects in Brest, Hossegor, Port-La Nouvelle, Corsica and Guiana ! At the beginning of 2020, I became the coordinator of the HSE unit: Safety, Health and Environment! "
"In October 2000, I joined CREOCEAN for an internship as technician and engineer assistant until June 2001 after obtaining my diploma of Advanced Technician in oceanography with a specialty in marine environment. In 2003, I began to be integrated in international projects teams. In 2005, I became a professional diver which allowed me to participate to new projects. In 2010, I became the technical referent for all diving safety aspects. In 2012, I was appointed HSE (Health Safety Environment) coordinator and in 2013 technical referent with regard to diving part and video tools used on many projects. Since 2017 I have refocused on my role within the Atlantic Environment team where I carry out field operations but also study reports and commercial offers."
"Following my PhD Thesis in Science: Biology of organisms and populations, I gained more than 15 years of experience in Mediterranean and tropical marine environment (Indian Ocean, Tropical Atlantic Ocean, Caribbean).
Project Director at Creocean since 2015, I work on public tenders for Martinique and the Caribbean zone and I am involved in commercial development. I also try to be creative and offer to prime contractors innovative studies that can enrich the knowledge of coastal environments.
I study the characterization and monitoring of the state of health of the natural environment through the ecosystems study (seagrass beds, coral reefs) subjected to different pressures, and I am involved in the concerted management of ecosystems and their resources. It is exciting !"
"Head of CREOCEAN PACA-Corsica Agency based in La Seyne-sur-Mer (Var) since 2005, I am a university engineer specialized in physical oceanography and coastal management.
I work on quite varied studies reflecting CREOCEAN multi- disciplinary competences. My role is also to promote the skills of the company in these regions.
I love, in my work, combining human contact with highly technical and scientific aspects. I also like to be a teacher to our customers in order to promote and develop environmentally friendly projects on our beautiful Mediterranean shores."
